From left to right: Mango, Fruta do Conde, and Raspberry

There are 40 different kinds of juice at Bibi Sucos, and I want to try them all.

Last week, I started with Fruta do Conde (pronounced con-gee) because my Carioca roommate told me it was a must-try. She was right! Of the juices I've tried so far, it's by far the winner. It's milky and refreshing with a subtle sweetness. If you were to add orange, it would probably taste like Creamsicle.

Today, I went on a binge and ordered three different juices at once: Mango, Fruta do Conde (had to), and Raspberry. Mango was fantastic. Raspberry was thick and icy like a sorbet. Of course, I drank every last drop.

Fig, Pear, and Melon are on my agenda for tomorrow. I'm excited to try the more exotic fruits and nuts on the menu: Cocao Bean, Tamarind, Persimmon, Starfruit, Cupuassu, Soursop, Caja, Mangaba, Barbados Cherry, and Umbu. Most of these I had to Google and many are native to Brazil.

At less than $2 US each, why not?
